If I stay silent while accountability is abandoned, then I become part of the problem. That is not who I am.
The reality is simple. Our nation is drowning in institutional corruption. Donald Trump is one of the few individuals on the planet positioned to confront it head on. That is precisely why the stakes are so high. I still hope he returns to the posture that energized millions of Americans. But hope is not a strategy. I will not hold back criticism in the name of waiting for a plan that never materializes. Principle demands consistency, and consistency demands courage.
